CEO

Jamie isn't just a member of Just Construction (JC), he's a cornerstone. Laying the first brick in 2012, his three years of prior construction recruitment experience were the blueprint for building a company based on honesty, transparency, and integrity. These values aren't just window dressing; they're the steel beams holding JC together through every boom and bust, every challenge and triumph. Jamie's passion isn't just building structures, it's building relationships. Whether guiding clients through turbulent markets or mentoring team members to new heights, Jamie's unwavering dedication has been instrumental in JC's growth and strategic ascent – yes, even including that audacious ambition of "Global Domination" (wink wink). But while aiming for the sky, Jamie never forgets the ground beneath his feet. He fiercely protects JC's hard-earned financial stability and service excellence, ensuring every client and candidate experience the same exceptional support. Now, Jamie's sights are set on a new horizon – expanding JC's reach to the US market. His leadership will be crucial in replicating the company's success across the Atlantic, bringing JC's signature service and integrity to a whole new audience. Jamie's story isn't just about bricks and mortar, it's about building a legacy of trust and excellence. And with him at the helm, JC's future promises to be as strong and enduring as the values that define it.

US Construction Slowdown: Why Now’s the Time to Rethink Your Hiring Bench
By Jamie Trevett June 18, 2025
Timber’s not a trend; it’s a response to a broken system. Brick shortages, carbon pressure, and the need to build faster have forced contractors to adapt, whether they’re ready or not. In this blog, Jamie Trevett unpacks what’s driving the shift across the UK and US, the real implications for recruitment, and why ignoring it could cost your firm the jobs you're bidding for in 2025.

Skilled trades shortages aren’t just slowing projects. They’re inflating costs, damaging margins, and losing bids before ground is even broken. In this blog, Jamie Trevett lays out how labour gaps are hitting contractors in both the UK and US, why they’re making tenders harder to win, and how smart firms are solving it before the first hire is even made.
