The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for leading projects from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery in line with contractual, financial, and operational objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing all phases of electrical construction projects from pre-construction handover through closeout
- Developing, maintaining, and tracking project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
- Coordinating with field supervision to ensure labor productivity, quality control, and milestone achievement
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure full scope understanding
- Overseeing procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Managing change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
- Monitoring project costs, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, company standards, and project requirements
- Leading coordination meetings with clients, general contractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Supporting field operations by resolving technical and logistical issues
- Maintaining strong communication with stakeholders regarding progress, risks, and updates
- Ensuring timely project closeout including final documentation, punch lists, and billing support
- Identifying project risks and opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability
