Job Details

We are seeking an experienced VDC Manager to lead and support BIM/VDC production operations from our headquarters in Miami, FL a well established GC. This role is responsible for managing VDC workflows, supporting project teams, improving interoffice collaboration, and ensuring effective use of BIM and construction technology platforms across the organization.

The ideal candidate has hands-on project experience as a Project Engineer, Project Manager, VDC/BIM professional, or equivalent, along with strong supervisory skills and advanced knowledge of platforms such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit, Archicad, and related tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage BIM and VDC production operations across active and upcoming projects.
• Support project teams with model coordination, clash detection, constructability reviews, logistics planning, and digital project delivery.
• Manage interoffice collaboration on BIM/VDC platforms in partnership with IT staff, office staff, and project staff.
• Establish, maintain, and improve BIM/VDC standards, workflows, templates, and best practices.
• Provide direct support and troubleshooting for key software platforms, including AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit, Archicad, and related tools.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, engineers, architects, consultants, trade partners, and internal teams to support project execution.
• Oversee model management, file organization, version control, and coordination documentation.
• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings and ensure action items, clashes, and model updates are tracked and resolved.
• Support preconstruction and operations teams with visualization, quantity takeoffs, sequencing, logistics, and coordination deliverables.
• Train, mentor, and support team members in BIM/VDC software, workflows, and standards.
• Collaborate with IT to maintain platform functionality, software access, user permissions, integrations, and technical support.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, coordination, quality, and communication through VDC technology.
• Ensure BIM/VDC deliverables meet project requirements, owner expectations, and company standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–8 years of project experience in construction, engineering, VDC/BIM, or a related role.
• Prior experience as a Project Engineer, Project Manager, VDC/BIM Manager, or equivalent preferred.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience required.
• Extensive hands-on knowledge of BIM/VDC software, including AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit, Archicad, and related construction technology platforms.
• Experience supporting and managing BIM/VDC production operations.
• Strong understanding of construction documents, coordination processes, project workflows, and field execution.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with IT, office staff, project teams, consultants, and trade partners.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Strong communication, training, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, users, priorities, and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management platforms preferred.
