Just Construction is partnered with an established South Florida General Contractor specializing in commercial and healthcare construction.

The company is looking to add an experienced Healthcare Superintendent to its team to oversee interior healthcare construction projects in and around the Jupiter area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Superintendent with strong healthcare interiors experience who wants to join a growing contractor and take ownership of projects while working closely with clients, subcontractors, project managers and healthcare stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Take ownership of onsite construction activities from mobilization through completion.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors and specialty trades.
• Manage daily field operations and construction sequencing.
• Maintain project schedules and coordinate work with the Project Manager.
• Conduct subcontractor meetings and daily coordination.
• Review plans, specifications and project documents.
• Identify potential conflicts or issues before they impact the project.
• Coordinate MEP, architectural and specialty healthcare systems.
• Maintain strict quality-control standards throughout construction.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure work meets project specifications.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized jobsite.
• Coordinate deliveries, materials and site logistics.
• Manage punch list activities through final completion.
• Work closely with the Project Manager, client, design team and subcontractors.
• Maintain strong communication with all project stakeholders.
• Ensure healthcare-specific requirements and protocols are followed throughout construction.
• Help deliver projects on schedule while maintaining the high standards expected by the client.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience within commercial construction.
• Proven experience working on healthcare interiors, renovations or occupied healthcare environments.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades onsite.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare construction processes, sequencing and infection-control requirements.
• Experience coordinating MEP trades and specialty healthcare systems.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of project schedules and construction sequencing.
• Experience conducting subcontractor meetings and coordinating daily field activities.
• Strong quality-control and safety awareness.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work closely with Project Managers, owners, architects and subcontractors.
• Procore experience is preferred.
• Must be located locally to Jupiter, FL and able to reliably work on projects throughout the surrounding area.

Experience working within active hospitals, medical facilities, MOBs, surgical centers or other healthcare environments is highly desirable.
