About the Client
About the Role
This position is responsible for leading field operations on water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects within a general contracting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide on-site leadership and supervision for all phases of construction
• Coordinate and direct self-perform crews and subcontractors across civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes
• Develop and manage short-term schedules, work plans, and daily field activities
• Ensure projects are executed safely, on time, and in accordance with plans and specifications
• Partner closely with the Project Manager to support budget, cost control, and overall project execution
• Lead site safety initiatives, enforce policies, and maintain a strong safety culture
• Conduct daily meetings, inspections, and quality control oversight
• Identify and resolve field issues, constructability challenges, and coordination conflicts
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, manpower tracking, and progress updates
• Foster strong working relationships with owners, engineers, inspectors, and project teams
This is a hands-on leadership role in a self-perform GC environment, requiring deep field knowledge of water/wastewater construction.

• Background working for a general contractor, preferably with self-perform capabilities
Strong knowledge of:
• Civil, mechanical, and/or process systems within treatment facilities
• Construction sequencing, means & methods, and field coordination
• Reading and interpreting plans, specifications, and shop drawings
• Demonstrated ability to lead crews, subcontractors, and field personnel effectively
• Experience managing site safety, quality control, and production schedules
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make real-time decisions in the field
Typical Qualifications:
• 3+ years of field leadership experience on relevant infrastructure projects
• Proven track record of delivering projects on schedule and with high quality
