About the Role
- Lead and supervise on-site electrical crews, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality installation of all electrical systems
- Oversee daily field operations and coordination with project staff to maintain productivity and resolve job site challenges
- Manage material procurement, deliveries, and vendor buyouts to ensure timely installation and minimal disruption to schedule
- Track labor hours, material usage, expenses, and field-driven changes to support accurate cost reporting and forecasting
- Review construction drawings, including Superintendent redlines and CAD coordination sets, to confirm constructability and accuracy
- Maintain and drive the project schedule, managing critical path items, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
- Regularly walk the job site to monitor progress, enforce safety standards, and support crews with direction and troubleshooting
- Support constructability reviews and collaborate with project managers to ensure field execution aligns with design intent and budget
- Establish cost codes, monitor field productivity, and provide input on project progress and forecasts
- Ensure timely submission of closeout documentation, including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and punch list completion
- Build and maintain strong relationships with General Contractors, Owners, and Trade Partners to foster collaboration and communication
- Mentor field staff and foremen to promote skill development and future leadership
- Uphold company standards and protect financial outcomes through professional, informed decision-making in the field
About the Candidate
- Over 10 years of experience supervising large-scale electrical construction projects with a strong focus on mission-critical data center builds
- Proven leadership in managing on-site electrical crews, subcontractors, and field operations to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency
- Deep understanding of project scheduling, manpower planning, and workflow coordination in fast-paced environments
- Skilled in labor tracking, cost control, and progress reporting to support project goals and meet deadlines
- Proficient in interpreting electrical plans, specifications, and code requirements ensuring all installations meet design and compliance standards
- Experienced in change management, field-level pricing of change orders, and communication with project management for budget impacts
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a sharp eye for identifying potential field issues and driving timely resolutions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to oversee multiple phases and crews simultaneously
- Clear and professional communicator both verbal and written with the ability to coordinate effectively between field teams, project managers, and clients
