Superintendent – Commercial Drywall & Metal Framing

A respected commercial drywall and metal framing contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations across commercial construction projects in Southwest Florida.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Superintendent within commercial drywall, metal framing, ceilings or interior construction.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and managing project schedules.
• Strong understanding of quality control and construction safety.
• Proficient with construction management software and Microsoft Office is advantageous.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel between project sites.

The Role

• Manage the day-to-day site operations on commercial drywall, metal framing and interior systems projects.
• Lead field teams, foremen and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate labour, materials, equipment and deliveries.
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure work is completed in accordance with project requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections and oversee punch list completion.
• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards across all job sites.
• Work closely with Project Managers, clients and General Contractors to maintain project progress and resolve site issues.
• Complete daily reports, schedule updates and project documentation.
