Overview
A well-established commercial construction contractor in the Southeast is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations across projects in the Tampa market. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving on-site execution, maintaining high standards of safety and quality, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities from ground-up through completion
• Manage subcontractors, trades, and field personnel to ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain project schedules and proactively address delays or challenges
• Enforce strict safety standards and ensure compliance with all regulations
• Oversee quality control and ensure work aligns with plans and specifications
• Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, and stakeholders
• Conduct daily reports, site documentation, and progress tracking
• Build strong relationships with clients, inspectors, and subcontractors

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
• Proven ability to manage ground-up and/or large-scale projects
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and site logistics
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades on-site
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on commercial, multifamily, or institutional projects
• Familiarity with software such as Procore, MS Project, or similar tools
• Stable work history with reputable general contractors
• OSHA certification or strong safety background
