About the Client

My client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a high-end residential drylining project near Oxford. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the site, managing day-to-day operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all site activities, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.

  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors and trades on-site.

  • Monitor project progress, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.

  • Implement and enforce health and safety regulations on-site.

  • Liaise with clients, architects, and project managers to ensure smooth communication and problem resolution.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues proactively.

  • Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports and safety documentation.

  • Ensure the procurement of materials and resources in line with project needs.

  • Attend and lead site meetings, reporting progress to senior management.

About the Candidate

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on drylining and high-end residential projects.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, health and safety regulations, and project management .

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure.

  • Competent in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications .

  • Familiarity with site management software and reporting tools .

  • CSCS card, SMSTS certification, and First Aid at Work qualification (preferred).

  • Full UK driving licence.
