A respected commercial general contractor with a legacy of quality is searching for a Senior Superintendent  to join its leadership team. This is a critical opportunity for a results-driven professional who excels at overseeing the day-to-day operations of complex commercial projects.

About the Role

  • Site Management & Safety:  Oversee all on-site construction activities, enforcing strict safety protocols to maintain a secure and incident-free work environment.
  • Subcontractor Coordination:  Manage and coordinate all subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring seamless collaboration and adherence to project schedules.
  • Project Oversight:  Monitor progress against the master schedule, providing regular updates and proactively addressing potential delays or issues with the Project Manager.
  • Quality Control:  Conduct frequent quality inspections to ensure all workmanship meets high standards and complies with contract documents and building codes.
  • Communication & Leadership:  Foster a positive working atmosphere, mentor site personnel, and serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Documentation & Planning:  Interpret project drawings and specifications, manage on-site conflicts, and coordinate with the Project Manager on project budgets and cost controls.

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful project delivery and a comprehensive understanding of the construction process.

  • 5+ years  of experience as a Superintendent in the commercial construction industry on projects 8M+.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and building codes.
  • A strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with a talent for motivating diverse teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and attention to detail.
  • OSHA certification  and a firm commitment to upholding rigorous safety standards.
