Our client
Well-established and highly respected general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects throughout Dallas and across Texas.

With a diverse portfolio spanning education, commercial, retail, and industrial construction, the company delivers projects ranging from smaller developments through to complex projects valued at $70 million+.

Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are looking to add an experienced Senior Estimator to their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead estimates from initial concept through to final bid submission.
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, bid packages, and pricing analyses.
• Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and contract documents.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Develop competitive and accurate project budgets.
• Identify scope gaps, risks, exclusions, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Work closely with Preconstruction and Project Management teams to develop effective project strategies.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of commercial construction estimating experience, ideally with a general contractor.
• Proven experience estimating projects ranging from $10M to $70M+.
• Experience across sectors such as education, commercial, retail, industrial, or similar.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, subcontractor scopes, and market conditions.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and civil drawings.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
