About the Client

My client is a top-tier electrical contractor known for delivering large-scale, technically complex projects across data centers, healthcare, commercial, industrial, and mission-critical environments. They self-perform a significant portion of the work, giving their teams real control over schedule, quality, and execution—not just paper management.

What sets them apart is the combination of scale and stability with a field-first culture. Leadership is hands-on, projects are well-funded and well-staffed, and there’s a strong emphasis on safety, training, and long-term career growth. They invest heavily in technology, prefabrication, and planning, which allows their teams to build smarter and avoid chaos.

For professionals who want to work on meaningful, high-profile projects without constant turnover or firefighting, this is a place where people actually stay—and advance.

About the Role

  • Lead multiple electrical projects or a single large-scale project from kickoff to closeout

  • Full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and change management
  • Manage and mentor Project Managers, Engineers, and support staff
  • Oversee contract review, scope alignment, and risk mitigation
  • Drive coordination with owners, GCs, designers, and trade partners
  • Support preconstruction, estimating handoff, and procurement strategy
  • Partner with field leadership to ensure constructability, productivity, and safety
  • Maintain accurate project reporting and executive-level communication

About the Candidate

  • 10+ years of electrical construction experience, including senior PM or lead PM roles
  • Proven track record managing $20M+ electrical scopes
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, electrical systems, and construction means & methods
  • Experience with large, self-perform electrical contractors
  • Advanced skills in project controls, scheduling, and financial management
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage teams and clients
