About the Client
About the Role
As a Senior Estimator, you will lead full-cycle estimating efforts across complex electrical construction projects including hyperscale data centers, healthcare facilities, manufacturing plants, central utility plants, and large-scale commercial developments.
This role will involve:
- Leading detailed electrical estimates from conceptual budgeting through final bid submission
- Managing labor forecasting, material pricing, subcontractor analysis, and constructability reviews
- Supporting design-build, negotiated, GMP, and hard bid pursuits
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, schedules, and phasing requirements to identify risks and opportunities
- Coordinating with operations, field leadership, BIM/VDC, procurement, and executive teams
- Participating in client presentations, preconstruction meetings, and bid strategy discussions
- Mentoring junior estimators and supporting department growth initiatives
- Supporting value engineering, procurement strategy, and schedule analysis on complex projects
- Assisting with strategic business development and major project pursuits
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience with the following is preferred:
- 6+ years of electrical estimating experience within commercial, industrial, or mission critical construction
- Strong understanding of electrical systems including switchgear, UPS systems, generators, power distribution, lighting, and low voltage systems
- Experience leading large-scale estimates and managing multiple pursuits simultaneously
- Strong background in design-build and negotiated work
- Experience with labor forecasting, GMP proposals, conceptual estimating, and value engineering
- Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and electrical construction standards
- Previous mission critical or data center experience highly preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work directly with clients and executive teams
