My client is a leading commercial roofing contractor, delivering complex refurbishment and reactive maintenance works across industrial, retail, and public sector buildings throughout the UK. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale roofing refurbishment projects across the South of England. You will manage multiple sites, teams, and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction are always at the forefront.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead roofing refurbishment projects from handover through to completion

• Develop and manage project programmes, risk assessments, and method statements

• Oversee site teams and subcontractors to ensure high standards of workmanship and health & safety compliance

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders

• Monitor project progress, financials, and resource planning, reporting to the Contracts Director

• Carry out regular site visits, toolbox talks, and progress meetings

• Maintain detailed project documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

• Identify and resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively

• Work collaboratively with internal teams (Commercial, Health & Safety, Estimating) to deliver successful outcomes

• Proven experience managing roofing refurbishment projects within commercial or industrial sectors

• Strong technical knowledge of roofing systems (flat and pitched)

• SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certification (essential)

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively

• Proficient in project planning and reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel)
