About the Company

This is a well-established roofing construction business delivering a wide range of commercial and residential projects across London and the South West. Project values typically range between £50,000 and £2.5 million, covering both new builds and refurbishments.

The business has recently undergone a restructure due to continued growth and a busy pipeline of work. The current management structure includes a Senior Contracts Manager and two experienced Contracts Managers, supported by junior staff, one of whom is transitioning into a Health & Safety role. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing day-to-day site activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

• Work under the guidance of senior management to support contract administration.

• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.

• Contribute to health & safety compliance across all sites.

• Help prepare and review project documentation, including progress reports and contract paperwork.

• Gain experience with JCT contracts and other construction processes.

• Split time between office-based tasks in Surbiton and site visits across London and the South West.

Requirements

• Previous experience working on the tools in construction (3–5 years).

• Desire to step into a contracts management role with a mix of site and office responsibilities.

• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to sites.

• Strong organisational and communication skills.

• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and progress.

• Experience with JCT contracts (advantageous but not essential).
