As a Roofing and Cladding Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase of projects. You will be responsible for preparing detailed and competitive quotations, ensuring accuracy and value engineering to meet client budgets. Working closely with the estimating, draughting, and contracts teams, you will contribute to the successful delivery of projects from initial inquiry to completion.

• Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand project requirements.

• Accurately calculate material quantities, labour costs, and other associated expenses for roofing and cladding projects.

• Prepare detailed and competitive quotations, ensuring all aspects of the project are accurately represented.

• Identify opportunities for value engineering to provide cost-effective solutions for clients.

• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

• Work collaboratively with the draughting team to ensure accurate CAD drawings and solutions.

• Contribute to the development of O&M files upon project completion.

• Maintain accurate records of estimates and pricing information.

• Assist the contracts team with any estimating-related queries.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and pricing fluctuations.

• Proven experience as an Estimator within the roofing and cladding industry is essential.

• A strong understanding of various roofing and cladding systems and their installation methods.

• Excellent numeracy and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

• Strong IT skills, including experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
