An established and fast-growing specialist contractor in the roofing and cladding sector is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, bespoke building envelope solutions, the business partners with tier-one contractors on complex and design-led projects across the UK.

This is a key role within the organisation, offering the opportunity to oversee multiple projects while contributing to a company that combines traditional craftsmanship with modern, innovative construction techniques.

You will take full responsibility for managing roofing and cladding contracts from pre-construction through to completion. This will include:

• Overseeing multiple live projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
• Managing site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders
• Ensuring all works meet quality, safety, and compliance standards
• Coordinating with design and fabrication teams to deliver bespoke solutions
• Monitoring project performance and reporting on progress

Project Scope

The role focuses on specialist, design-led systems rather than standard industrial cladding. Typical project work includes:

• Bespoke rainscreen systems
• Standing seam cladding
• Cement-based board systems
• Architectural cladding packages
• Flat roofing systems integrated with cladding

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within roofing and/or cladding
• Strong technical knowledge of building envelope systems
• Experience delivering bespoke or architectural cladding packages
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively
• Commercial awareness and strong organisational skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Please note: Candidates with a background purely in industrial cladding will not be suitable for this position.
