About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of two major federal construction projects at military installations in Eastern North Carolina, supporting an established programme of ongoing work.

This is a predominantly office-based position, with regular coordination between project stakeholders, internal operations teams and site personnel. Site visits will be required when necessary, although extensive regional or nationwide travel is not expected.

The role offers excellent long-term stability, with a substantial pipeline of federal construction projects and the opportunity to work within an established project management team.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage federal construction projects from planning through to successful completion.
Oversee project schedules, budgets, procurement and overall project delivery.
Coordinate with Production Managers, field operations teams, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and implement appropriate solutions.
Maintain project documentation, reporting and commercial oversight.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual obligations and relevant construction standards.
Support the successful delivery of multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary & Benefits:

Base Salary: $80,000 – $130,000 depending on experience.
Performance Bonus: Based on individual and project performance.
Vehicle Allowance: $600 – $900 (payment frequency to be confirmed).

Working Hours & Location

Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Predominantly office-based with site visits as required.
No extensive nationwide travel or rotational assignments anticipated.

About the Candidate

We are interested in speaking with experienced Construction Project Managers who can demonstrate a strong track record of independently delivering projects.

Requirements:

Proven experience working as a Project Manager within the construction industry.
Background in electrical, mechanical, general contracting or other construction disciplines.
Federal or military construction experience advantageous but not essential.
Demonstrable experience managing construction projects independently.
Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgets, procurement and project delivery.
Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
Stable employment history and a consistent record of project delivery.
Experience using Procore, Bluebeam or similar construction management platforms preferred.
Construction Management degree advantageous but not mandatory.

An electrical construction background is preferred but not essential. Candidates from general contracting, mechanical construction and other relevant disciplines are encouraged to apply.
