About the Role

As a Project Manager within this organisation, reporting to a Senior Project Manager, you will:

  • Review owner contracts and ensure compliance
  • Manage development of the master project schedule and quality control programme
  • Identify critical issues and project milestones
  • Review budgets and scopes with the Preconstruction team
  • Manage the overall project budget
  • Identify potential cost impacts and provide accurate forecasting
  • Ensure safety is fully integrated into project planning and execution
  • Lead development of GMP or Lump Sum contract structures
  • Prepare subcontract and owner change orders
  • Prepare monthly owner requisitions
  • Assess the financial capability of subcontractors
  • Ensure subcontractors and vendors meet all contractual requirements prior to mobilisation
  • Manage project assets and resources
  • Conduct weekly and monthly reviews of job cost reports
  • Develop Look-Ahead Schedules
  • Oversee the project’s quality control programme

About the Candidate

Our client is hiring multiple Project Managers (2 in Dallas–Fort Worth and 2 in Houston), and they’re seeking professionals who bring a balance of technical competence, financial awareness, and strong leadership on electrical construction projects. Ideal candidates will have experience in both commercial and healthcare environments, with at least one healthcare project completed as a PM.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience across construction, design, finance, and project management
  • At least 2 years’ experience working for a commercial electrical contractor
  • Proficiency with industry software such as Primavera, Expedition, construction management systems, and standard MS Office tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced understanding of safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineering drawings, and contract documentation
