Project Manager – Commercial Drywall / Interior Construction

Location: Washington, DC / Mid-Atlantic

The Project Manager will take ownership of commercial projects from preconstruction through completion, working closely with field teams, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and company leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Reviewing plans, specifications, scopes, and contract documents
• Supporting and performing project estimating and takeoffs
• Managing project budgets, schedules, procurement, and change orders
• Tracking project costs, commitments, billing, and overall performance
• Coordinating with superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
• Identifying potential issues early and developing solutions
• Managing RFIs, submittals, documentation, and project correspondence
• Maintaining accurate project records through construction technology platforms
• Taking ownership of project performance with limited day-to-day supervision

The company is looking for a fully capable Project Manager who can step into the role and take ownership quickly.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Commercial construction experience, ideally within drywall, interiors, or specialty contracting
• Strong estimating and plan-reading skills
• Experience managing projects from bid/preconstruction through completion
• Strong understanding of project financials, contracts, and change management
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• A self-starting, forward-thinking approach
• The ability to work independently and make sound project decisions
• Strong construction technology experience
