An established commercial drywall and metal framing contractor is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to its growing operations team.

With a strong pipeline of commercial projects across New England, this contractor delivers drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, insulation and interior systems packages for a wide range of clients. The business has built an excellent reputation for quality workmanship, repeat business and delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager looking to take ownership of multiple commercial drywall projects while joining a company that offers long-term career progression.

As Project Manager, you'll oversee projects from handover through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget. You'll work closely with clients, superintendents, foremen, estimators and subcontractors to maintain high standards throughout every phase of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial drywall and metal framing projects simultaneously.
• Take ownership of project budgets, schedules and overall delivery.
• Coordinate field teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review drawings, specifications and contract documents.
• Manage procurement of materials and equipment.
• Attend client meetings and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Monitor project costs, change orders and forecasting.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.
• Resolve project issues proactively while maintaining profitability.
• Work closely with estimating and operations teams to ensure successful project handovers.

• Minimum 5 years' experience managing commercial drywall and metal framing projects.
• Background working for a drywall or interior systems subcontractor.
• Strong understanding of commercial drywall construction methods and sequencing.
• Experience managing project financials, schedules and change orders.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
