Drywall Project Manager – New Jersey / Long Island City, NY

Location: New Jersey (Work from Home with regular site visits across New Jersey and Long Island City, NY)

A well-established commercial drywall and interiors contractor is looking to hire an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple drywall, metal framing and acoustical ceiling projects throughout New Jersey and Long Island City.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial work while enjoying the flexibility of working from home when not on site.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial drywall and interior systems projects from award through closeout.
• Coordinate schedules, subcontractors, suppliers and field teams.
• Monitor project budgets, change orders, RFIs and submittals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and general contractors.
• Attend project meetings and carry out regular site visits across New Jersey and Long Island City
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within the commercial drywall industry.
• Strong knowledge of drywall, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings and interior systems.
• Experience managing commercial construction projects.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects.
• Based in New Jersey or within commuting distance.
