Project Manager – Commercial Drywall & Interior Systems

Port St. Lucie, FL

A growing commercial drywall and interior systems contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join its operations team based in the Port St. Lucie area.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-respected contractor specialising in commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings and complete interior systems across South Florida. You'll oversee projects from pre-construction through closeout while working alongside experienced Superintendents, Estimators and executive leadership to deliver high-quality commercial projects

The Role

• Manage multiple commercial drywall and interior systems projects from award through completion.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules and financial performance.
• Coordinate Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals and change orders.
• Procure materials and manage project logistics.
• Maintain strong relationships with General Contractors, owners and design teams.
• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve commercial and field issues.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular financial and operational reporting.

Requirements

• 5+ years' Project Management experience within commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings or interior systems.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction practices and project sequencing.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, procurement and change order management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience using Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project or similar software is advantageous.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's licence with the ability to travel between project sites.
