A leading commercial drywall and interiors contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support projects across the Albany / Capital Region. The company has been operating for over 25 years and is recognized for delivering high-quality drywall, framing, acoustical ceilings, and specialty systems on complex commercial builds.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage drywall and interior construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Oversee budgets, cost control, and financial reporting across multiple projects
• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and internal field teams
• Ensure compliance with union labor requirements and project agreements
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement processes
• Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying risks and delays early
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality, safety, and progress
• Build and maintain strong client relationships

Requirements

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in construction
• Strong background in drywall, metal framing, ceilings, or interiors packages
• Experience working on union projects and understanding labor coordination
• Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and teams
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on healthcare, education, or large commercial projects
• Background with specialty contractors or Division 9 scopes
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
