With a proven track record of projects up to $500 million, they pride ourselves on our innovative approach, commitment to quality, safety excellence, and fostering strong client relationships.

They are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Project Executive to lead our most significant and strategic manufacturing projects.

About the Role

1. Strategic Leadership & Client Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the executive-level point of contact and primary liaison with blue-chip clients, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Understand and anticipate client needs, proactively identifying opportunities to add value and expand services.
  • Develop and implement strategic project plans that align with company objectives and client expectations.
  • Represent the company at executive-level client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
  • Drive repeat business through superior project delivery and relationship management.
2. Project Oversight & Performance:
  • Provide executive oversight and leadership for multiple concurrent design-build manufacturing projects, ranging in value up to $500 million.
  • Accountable for the overall financial performance of projects, including profitability, cost control, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Ensure projects adhere to all contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions to mitigate risks and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Champion and enforce rigorous quality control and assurance programs.
  • Oversee the implementation of best-in-class safety practices, fostering a culture of "zero incidents" across all projects.
  • Drive efficiency and innovation in project delivery, leveraging technology and best practices.
3. Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing project teams, including Project Managers, Superintendents, Project Engineers, and other key personnel.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-accountability environment where team members are empowered to excel.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for professional growth within the team.
  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new talent.
4. Preconstruction & Business Development Support:
  • Collaborate with the preconstruction and estimating teams during the proposal and bidding phases, providing strategic insights and executive-level support.
  • Participate in client interviews and presentations, articulating the company's value proposition and project execution strategy.
  • Contribute to the development of win strategies for new business opportunities.
  • Support business development efforts by leveraging existing client relationships and identifying new opportunities within the manufacturing sector.
5. Contract & Risk Management:
  • Review and negotiate complex contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, developing robust mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee the resolution of complex claims, disputes, and change orders.

About the Candidate

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), Architecture, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in large-scale commercial or industrial construction, with a significant portion dedicated to design-build manufacturing projects.

    • Demonstrated experience managing projects valued at $100M+ individually, with significant exposure to projects up to $500M.

    • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, fast-track projects for blue-chip clients.

    • Extensive experience with diverse manufacturing facility types (e.g., semiconductor, pharmaceutical, automotive, food & beverage, advanced technology).

  • Technical Skills:
    • Deep understanding of design-build project delivery methodology.

    • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Prolog, CMiC, Oracle Primavera P6).

    • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

    • Thorough knowledge of construction means, methods, materials, and systems.

    • Understanding of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

    • Experience with Lean Construction principles is a plus.

  • Leadership & Soft Skills:
    • Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities.

    • Superior communication (written and verbal), presentation, and negotiation skills.

    • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

    • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
