You will work closely with Preconstruction, Project Management, and external legal counsel to review, negotiate, and track agreements, provide contractual guidance, and support the drafting of proactive and reactive notices. This role reports directly to executive leadership and is ideal for someone with a construction or legal contracts background who thrives in a high-accountability environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the project agreement lifecycle from receipt through execution, ensuring timely completion and accountability.
- Review, analyze, and negotiate agreements using established standards and approved positions.
- Serve as the internal gatekeeper for contractual compliance and process consistency.
- Develop, maintain, and improve procedures, templates, checklists, and workflows.
- Support Project Managers with interpreting agreements and drafting contractual notices.
- Coordinate with external counsel, synthesizing information for executive review.
- Maintain accurate records, document control, and agreement execution logistics.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in construction contracts, subcontract administration, paralegal work, or legal studies; multiple professional paths welcome.
- Strong preference for construction industry experience, including subcontractor or general contractor exposure.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate independently, manage complex processes, and drive results without direct supervision.
- Professional, solutions-oriented approach in high-accountability or adversarial situations.
