About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Prefabrication Drywall Project Manager
to lead and deliver prefab drywall solutions across commercial construction projects in the Orlando and Tampa markets. This role focuses on coordinating prefabrication efforts, managing field operations, and ensuring seamless execution from planning through installation.
Key Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of project management for drywall prefabrication, including planning, scheduling, coordination, and delivery.

Work closely with cross-functional teams — including design, estimating, fabrication, and field operations — to integrate prefab drywall systems into overall project schedules.

Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents to develop execution plans and identify risks.

Manage procurement, logistics, and material flow specific to prefabricated drywall assemblies.

Track budgets, forecasting, cost control, and job-site labor planning to maintain project performance.

Enforce safety protocols, quality standards, and company best practices in all prefab activities.

Conduct regular project meetings and provide clear reporting to senior leadership.

Serve as the central point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
About the Candidate

Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in construction project management, with strong preference for experience in drywall, prefabrication, or specialty trade environments.

Proven skills interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.

Strong leadership and communication abilities, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.

Proficiency with construction project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office.

Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, budgets, and problem-solve in a dynamic environment.

Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Prior exposure to light gauge metal framing and prefab wall systems.

Experience working on commercial drywall prefabrication within a shop/warehouse environment.
