A growing commercial general contractor with a strong pipeline across the Southeast is seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to support and lead pre-construction efforts across a range of commercial projects.

The company has a strong background in multifamily construction and is expanding further into hospitality, mixed-use, retail, storage, business parks and other commercial developments. Projects typically range from $30M–$45M, with larger projects reaching $50M+.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pre-construction professional who can take ownership of projects from early budgeting and design development through to construction, working closely with owners, architects, subcontractors and internal project teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 5–10+ years of commercial construction experience within pre-construction, estimating or project management.
• Strong experience developing budgets, estimates and cost plans for commercial projects.
• Understanding of commercial construction methods, scheduling, procurement and subcontractor markets.
• Experience with multifamily, hospitality, mixed-use, retail, industrial or other commercial projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of sitework, utilities and overall project constructability.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with estimating and project management software.
• Proactive, commercially minded approach with strong attention to detail.
