Overview

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Supervisor to oversee commercial plumbing installations on new construction and renovation projects throughout the Tampa area. This role is responsible for managing field crews, coordinating daily activities, ensuring code compliance, and delivering high-quality work on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily plumbing operations on commercial projects, including hospitals, schools, multifamily, industrial, and retail.

• Lead, mentor, and manage plumbing crews and subcontractors on site.

• Interpret drawings, specifications, and plumbing schematics to ensure proper installation.

• Coordinate with GCs, other MEP trades, and internal project teams to maintain workflow.

• Oversee installation of domestic water, sanitary, storm, gas piping, fixtures, equipment, and related systems.

• Conduct site walks, quality inspections, and ensure adherence to local plumbing codes and safety policies.

• Manage material planning, deliveries, and equipment requirements to keep the project on schedule.

• Troubleshoot field issues and provide technical guidance to crew members.

• Track manpower, daily progress, and communicate updates to Project Managers.

• Support testing, inspections, punch lists, and project closeout.
  
   

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial plumbing experience, with at least 10 years in a lead or supervisory role.

• Strong understanding of plumbing codes, installation methods, and commercial system layouts.

• Ability to manage crews, coordinate trades, and maintain control over schedule and quality.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.

• OSHA 10/30 preferred.

• Journeyman or Master Plumbing license beneficial but not required.
