About the Role
The estimator is responsible for preparing estimates with the pre-construction team. Assist sales team with business operations in Arizona via maintaining and fostering strong relationships with a select customers, assist sales team members’ technical and project estimating capabilities.
- Capability and understanding of estimating mechanical HVAC systems.
- Capability and understanding of estimating prime contracting mechanical retrofit projects including electrical and structural trades.
- Projects range from plan and spec projects and special projects as defined.
- estimating Software: Gain expertise in the companies estimating software like, Bluebeam, FastDUCT and FastPIPE.
- Spreadsheet Software: Learn advanced Excel spreadsheet skills.
- Foster and build positive customer relationships with a select number of organizations via frequent visits and interactions.
- Prepare and present professional and highly accurate proposals.
About the Candidate

Strong background in mechanical estimating and pre-construction services, with a focus on HVAC systems.

Experienced in estimating mechanical retrofit projects, including coordination of electrical and structural trades.

Worked on a variety of project types, including plan-and-spec and special/customized projects.

Reviews project plans and specifications to ensure a complete and accurate scope of work.

Evaluates equipment selections and ensures site surveys are performed appropriately.

Identifies and assesses risk issues and their potential impact on project execution.

Solicits and reviews subcontractor and supplier pricing and information
