A construction and development organization is hiring a Lead Superintendent(one per project) to oversee field execution of large, ground-up multifamily projects across North Carolina, South Carolina, and the surrounding region. Current projects range from approximately $55M–$60M and include large-scale multifamily developments of 300+ units.

This role is intended for an experienced superintendent who can lead field operations, provide steady leadership on site, maintain project momentum, and manage subcontractors effectively. Projects are primarily $50M+ ground-up, wood-frame multifamily developments. The organization operates as an owner-operator, providing visibility into upcoming work and long-term project continuity. Superintendents are brought on during early site work with fully permitted and awarded projects, allowing them to focus on field execution.

This is a one-project-at-a-time role, with an emphasis on accountability, organization, and strong on-site leadership.

• Lead day-to-day field execution for a $50M+ ground-up multifamily project from site work through completion

• Execute the project schedule and proactively resolve field issues

• Coordinate and manage subcontractors across multiple buildings

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite with strong attention to quality

• Work closely with the Project Manager and field team to keep the project on track

• Enforce jobsite safety standards and OSHA requirements

• 5+ years of experience in multifamily or commercial construction, including lead or senior superintendent responsibilities

• Experience running ground-up projects (wood-frame preferred)

• Strong knowledge of jobsite safety, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination

• Ability to execute a plan while adapting to changing field conditions

• Strong communication skills and leadership presence in the field

• Comfortable working with construction software such as Procore and Microsoft-based systems
