About the Role
The HVAC Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all phases of mechanical construction projects from kickoff through final turnover. This individual will collaborate with operations, field leadership, vendors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

- Lead commercial HVAC and mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
- Manage project financials, including cost tracking, billing, change orders, and profitability.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, vendors, field supervision, and subcontractors.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Support field teams in resolving technical challenges and maintaining productivity.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards, quality requirements, and client expectations.
- Attend project meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
- Manage project commissioning, startup activities, punch lists, and closeout documentation.
- Identify risks and proactively implement solutions to maintain project success.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced HVAC or Mechanical Project Manager with a proven track record delivering commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

- 5+ years of HVAC or mechanical project management experience.
- Experience managing commercial, industrial, healthcare, mission-critical, manufacturing, or institutional projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, sheet metal, piping, plumbing, controls, and commissioning processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining budgets and schedules.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management software, and construction scheduling platforms.
- Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Knowledge of contract administration, change order management, procurement, and risk mitigation.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred (equivalent industry experience considered).
