About the Role
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and takeoffs for curtain wall, storefront, window wall, and architectural metal projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure accurate estimates
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather pricing and technical information
- Identify potential risks, challenges, and value engineering opportunities
- Maintain and update historical cost databases and estimating tools
- Support the bidding process, including proposal preparation and submission
- Monitor project budgets and provide input during the design and preconstruction phases
- Ensure all estimates are accurate, competitive, and delivered on time
About the Candidate
- Proven experience as a commercial facades estimator, preferably in curtain wall, storefront, window wall, or architectural metal systems
- Skilled in preparing accurate takeoffs, cost estimates, and bids
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
- Experience coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Proficient with estimating software and tools
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Track record of delivering competitive and precise estimates on commercial projects
