About the Client
A growing glass and glazing contractor is seeking a skilled and motivated Glazier to install, repair, and fabricate glass and glazing systems for luxury residential and high-end commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with storefront systems, glass railings, heavy glass installations, impact glazing systems, and specialty architectural glass products. This role requires strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively on active construction sites.
About the Role
• Install and assemble glass systems including storefronts, curtain wall systems, railings, glass doors, partitions, mirrors, and specialty glazing products
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications
• Measure, cut, fit, and secure glass and framing components accurately
• Install impact-resistant and custom-engineered glazing systems
• Safely transport and handle glass materials and equipment
• Operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, and glazing equipment
• Ensure installations meet quality standards and project specifications
• Perform troubleshooting and field adjustments when required
• Follow OSHA safety standards and company procedures
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other field personnel

About the Candidate
• 2+ years of glazing or commercial glass installation experience preferred
• Experience with storefront, curtain wall, heavy glass, or architectural glass systems preferred
• Ability to read tape measures and construction drawings
• Ability to work at heights and use ladders, scaffolding, and lifts safely
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 75–100 pounds with assistance
• Experience with storefront, curtain wall, heavy glass, or architectural glass systems preferred
• Ability to read tape measures and construction drawings
• Ability to work at heights and use ladders, scaffolding, and lifts safely
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
