About the Client

A well-established commercial glazing and architectural glass contractor is looking for an experienced Commercial Glazing Foreman to join their team in Fort Myers, Florida.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone with 5–10+ years of commercial glazing experience who is comfortable leading crews, coordinating installations, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

About the Role

  • Lead and supervise glazing crews of approximately 5 employees on commercial projects.
  • Oversee the installation of storefront, curtain wall, entrances, doors, and other commercial glazing systems.
  • Read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate daily manpower, materials, equipment, and installation activities.
  • Ensure work is completed according to project schedules and quality standards.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, General Contractors, and other trades.
  • Identify and resolve field issues and installation challenges.
  • Perform quality-control inspections throughout the installation process.
  • Maintain a safe and organized jobsite and enforce company safety procedures.
  • Train and mentor installers and less-experienced crew members.
  • Communicate project progress, material requirements, and field issues to management.

About the Candidate

  • 5–10+ years of commercial glazing experience.
  • Previous experience as a Glazing Foreman, Lead Glazier, or similar supervisory role.
  • Strong experience with commercial storefront and curtain wall systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and shop drawings.
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate a crew of approximately 5 people.
  • Strong understanding of commercial glazing installation methods and best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively with GCs, subcontractors, and other trades.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • OSHA/Safety training is preferred.
  • Must be comfortable working in the field and traveling to commercial job sites throughout the region.
