Commercial Drywall Foreman

Location: Austin, TX

Salary: $30 - $42 per hour + Benefits

A growing commercial drywall contractor is looking to hire an experienced Drywall Foreman to lead field crews on commercial projects throughout the Austin area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable company with a strong pipeline of work and long-term career opportunities.

The successful candidate will oversee drywall, metal stud framing and acoustical ceiling installations while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule and to a high standard of quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise drywall, metal framing and acoustical ceiling crews on commercial projects.
• Coordinate daily activities with Project Managers and Superintendents.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications.
• Plan manpower, materials and equipment requirements.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to quality standards.
• Maintain project schedules and resolve field issues as they arise.
• Lead by example and mentor field personnel.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Commercial Drywall Foreman.
• Strong knowledge of drywall, metal stud framing and acoustical ceiling systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and coordinate work with other trades.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• OSHA certification is preferred.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to projects around the Austin area.
