We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimator to join a growing team of professional, reliable, and personable roofers committed to delivering high-quality results. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Brentwood, offering the opportunity for some work-from-home flexibility. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately assessing project requirements, meticulously estimating costs, and effectively communicating with both clients and internal teams. You will play a crucial role in securing new business and ensuring the successful delivery of roofing projects. The team prides itself on its collaborative approach, working closely with clients to understand their project constraints and provide tailored roofing solutions that consistently exceed expectations.

• Thoroughly review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documentation to understand project requirements.

• Accurately calculate material, labour, and other project-related costs.

• Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates and proposals.

• Collaborate effectively with clients to clarify project details, address queries, and build strong working relationships.

• Work closely with internal teams, including project managers and operations, to ensure accurate costings and project feasibility.

• Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and related documentation.

• Stay up-to-date with industry pricing trends, materials, and construction techniques.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools.

• Potentially assist with pre-qualification questionnaires and tender submissions.

• Proven experience in Estimating , including the ability to accurately interpret project documentation and calculate costs.

• Strong understanding of Cost Estimation principles and methodologies.

• Solid understanding of Project Management fundamentals and the project lifecycle.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all estimates.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to clearly and professionally interact with clients and colleagues.

• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for estimating and project management (specify any preferred software if applicable).

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a valuable member of a team .

• Experience in the roofing or construction industry is highly desirable.
