• Meet with potential clients on a regular basis, both in office and at project walks
• Exhibit a continued commitment in pursuit of new customers by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads and utilizing market strategies
• Receives and reviews requests for proposals or invitations to bid directly from customers, bid boards, or other means
• Generates sales or opportunities through customer outreach or other means
• Records, updates, and monitors quotes via company policies, bid logs, and CRM, as appropriate (Salesforce)
• Estimates, quotes, and provides a proposal in a timely manner and ahead of bid deadlines when possible
• Utilizes the most updated estimator workbook or estimating tool when preparing quote
• Provides a layout of alarm system/components via company procedures, which may involve a paper or digital layout
• Reviews and seeks approvals on estimates exceeding value or scope of work thresholds as required
• Conducts peer reviews on proposals as required
• Identifies and qualifies scope per bid documents, job walks, or local requirements

• Must have a good knowledge of fire alarm systems
• Be able to work to deadlines
• Based about 45 minutes radius of Tampa
• Minimum of 5 years of experience 
• Have the ability to train and mentor junior personnel if required
• Understand fully, estimating "ting, using various software's and estimating tools.
• Work to deadlines
• Ability to properly read fire alarm blueprints, submittals and operation / product manuals.
• Be involved in the sales process and visit client sites as required
• Minimum education of High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Understanding of NFPA codes and standards essential.
