An established General Contractor in Jacksonville, Florida  is seeking an experienced Drywall-focused Project Manager / Estimator to join their team. While the business now operates as a full-service GC, drywall remains at the core of their identity, and they have self-performed drywall continuously since 1980.

This role is ideal for someone who understands drywall from the inside out and can manage projects from pre-construction through close-out, with a strong emphasis on estimating, cost control, and field coordination.

Estimating / Pre-Construction

• Prepare accurate drywall estimates (labor, materials, equipment, and production rates)

• Review drawings, specifications, and scopes for constructability

• Participate in bid strategy, value engineering, and budgeting

• Support handoffs from estimating to operations

Project Management

• Manage self-performed drywall scopes from award through completion

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts

• Coordinate with field supervision, general contracting teams, and other trades

• Handle submittals, RFIs, change orders, and close-out documentation

• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers

• Experience working within a GC environment or for a drywall contractor

• Estimating software experience (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift, or similar)

• Leadership mindset with strong communication skills
