About the Client
About the Role
-
3+ Years experience in Estimating ideally within glass, curtain wall or metal panel systems
-
Prior experience with NYC construction is required.

Experience of manufacturers like Kawneer, EFCO, Schüco, YKK, or similar.

Proficiency using estimating software
About the Candidate
Evaluate bid specifications and take off architectural drawings for multiple commercial glass and/or architectural metal projects to determine scope of work, pricing and bidding strategy.
Follow up with general contractors and architects for RFIs and to ensure bids are received, understood, and complete.
Close bids while assessing risk involved with landing that particular project and recommending improvements to engineering standards, procedures, methods and processes using experience and knowledge.
Identify and manage relationships with clients, subcontractors and unions to gather quotes, resources and be a member of an effective project estimating team that will help win bids and deliver work worthy of our hard-earned reputation.
Maintain detailed records for each project estimated.
