About the Client
About the Role
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimating, preferably within the commercial and industrial sectors.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in commercial construction environments (preferred).
- Proficient with estimating software such as ConEst, Bluebeam, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industry construction standards.
- Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent field experience in electrical systems.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
About the Candidate
- Interpret electrical plans, specifications, and scope documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Solicit and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Develop and submit competitive bid proposals within deadlines.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to clarify scope and ensure estimate accuracy.
