About the Client

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Superintendent to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of electrical construction projects in the Charlotte, NC area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety, quality, and project deadlines. You’ll be the key liaison between project management, field staff, and subcontractors, ensuring all work is performed to company standards and local codes.

 

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage on-site electrical crews, subcontractors, and laborer
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily work activities, inspections, and project milestones
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to guide installations
  • Ensure work is completed in compliance with NEC codes, safety standards, and local regulations
  • Conduct daily jobsite safety meetings and enforce all company safety policies
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, vendors, and clients
  • Manage material inventory, equipment delivery, and site logistics
  • Monitor project costs, labor hours, and productivity
  • Identify and resolve field-related issues and technical challenges
  • Maintain accurate documentation including as-builts, field reports, and progress updates.

Package
  • Salary - $40 - $50 Per Hour 
  • Location -  Charlotte 
  • Projects -   Schools, Medical, Hospitality & Retail 
  • Package -  PTO, Medical, 401k, Dental, Truck or Allowance + gas card 

About the Candidate

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of electrical construction experience, with 3+ years in a supervisory role

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems in commercial or industrial settings

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and electrical schematics

  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification preferred

  • Journeyman or Master Electrician License (preferred or required based on local jurisdiction)

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills

  • Familiarity with scheduling tools and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
