As an Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for leading field operations on complex commercial construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule and to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise and coordinate electricians, apprentices and subcontract labour on site.
- Plan daily and weekly work activities in line with the overall construction schedule.
- Coordinate with Superintendents and other trade Foremen to maintain project progress.
- Forecast manpower requirements and assist with short term project planning.
- Manage material deliveries, site logistics and installation sequencing.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, including task planning and hazard identification.
- Work closely with Quality and QA/QC teams to ensure installations meet project standards.
- Support BIM coordination, field layout and prefabrication planning to improve productivity.
- Mentor and develop field personnel through coaching and on the job training.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Electrical licence or equivalent industry experience.
- Approximately 4–10+ years of electrical construction experience in a leadership role.
- Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate field installations.
- Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills.
- Comfortable using tablets and digital construction management tools.
- Ability to work in active construction environments while meeting physical job requirements.
