About the Client
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial electrical projects through all phases of construction
- Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasting, profitability, and cash flow
- Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Coordinate with superintendents, field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners
- Negotiate and issue purchase orders and subcontracts
- Monitor project progress and proactively manage project risks
- Ensure compliance with company standards, quality expectations, and safety requirements
- Mentor Assistant Project Managers and support junior team development
- Maintain project controls, reporting, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
Preferred qualifications include:
- 3–5 years of experience managing commercial electrical construction projects
- Experience managing projects valued between $500K – $3M
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and financial management
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documents
- Strong client-facing communication and leadership skills
- Experience coordinating field operations and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- OSHA 30 Certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced construction environments while meeting deadlines
Preferred qualifications include:
- Journeyman Electrical License
- Experience with Accubid Estimating Software
- Design-build project experience
- Commercial electrical construction background
