About the Role

The Electrical Project Manager will take ownership of projects from award through closeout, ensuring all electrical scopes are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role requires strong coordination across field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients while maintaining high standards of quality and communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage electrical construction projects from pre-construction through final closeout
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasting
  • Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor scopes
  • Lead project meetings with internal teams, clients, engineers, and other trades
  • Ensure field teams are supported with clear direction, drawings, and updated documentation
  • Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation to maintain project momentum
  •  
  • Identify risks early and proactively resolve issues impacting schedule, cost, or quality
  • Monitor jobsite progress and ensure work is installed per plans, specs, and code requirements
  • Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with all regulations and company policies
  • Provide accurate reporting on project status, progress, labor, and financial performance
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 (based on experience and interview performance)
  • Truck Allowance: $900/month (maintenance & fuel)
  • Health Insurance: 70% employer-paid (dependents at additional cost)

PTO:
  • 32 hours Sick Time at hire date (renewed annually)
  • Additional 40 hours Vacation Time each year
  • Paid Holidays: 6 per year
  • All benefits and continued employment subject to performance expectations

About the Candidate

The ideal Electrical Project Manager will have a proven ability to lead commercial or industrial electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring smooth execution across budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and client communication. This individual will be detail-oriented, proactive, and confident managing multiple priorities while keeping projects on track.

Experience Required / Desired:
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within commercial or industrial construction
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
  • Ability to manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal field operations effectively
  • Excellent communication skills with clients, engineers, and internal teams
  • Strong blueprint/specification reading and interpretation skills
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control, and compliance requirements
  • Ability to problem-solve quickly and keep projects moving forward
  • Proficiency with construction management software (preferred but not essential)
