About the Role
- Develop and execute project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Ensure project profitability across multiple projects.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, general contractors, architects, engineers, and other trades.
- Manage material procurement and acquisition.
- Administer contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Plan and allocate manpower effectively.
- Read and interpret plans, blueprints, specifications, and other construction documents.
- Prepare layout drawings.
- Handle RFIs, Submittals, Purchase Orders.
- Collaborate with estimators and engineers.
- Conduct regular job site visits and attend project meetings.
- Lead, mentor, and develop job site leadership (foremen/superintendents).
- Ensure overall project quality and adherence to QA/QC standards.
About the Candidate
- 10+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- At least 5 years of experience as a foreman or superintendent
- 2 years as a project manager or assistant project manager
- High School diploma or GED
- Successful completion of a mandatory drug screen and background check
- Preferred: Training in an apprenticeship or similar program, or in a trade or technical school
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and work well under time constraints
- Familiarity and/or experience with prefabrication applications
