About the Client

Join our industry-leading electrical contracting team and leave your mark on prominent commercial projects in North Carolina. We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated electrician to tackle exciting projects ranging from $1 million to $10 million, specializing in healthcare facilities, retail spaces, and diverse commercial environments.

About the Role

  • Ensure all permits and plan reviews are coordinated in a timely manner
  • Ensure appropriate quantity and type of material are ordered to meet the project schedule and daily work flow
  • Attend project meetings as required
  • Coordinate subcontractors; Fire Alarm vendors, public and private utility locators, underground boring are examples of subs that must be coordinated and scheduled
  • Ensure field supervisor and job foreman are aware of any specialized equipment needs
  • Ensure all direct charges are recorded to the job
  • Ensure all change orders are tracked, recorded and provided to the customer in a timely manner
  • Correspond and communicate with field personnel, GC, subcontractors and internal staff to ensure the job needs are met
  • Coordinate periodic meetings with field supervisor / job foreman to review project status
  • Assist field supervisor with setting benchmark objectives towards completion of job
  • Ensure project bench marks are achieved and job schedule is maintained
  • Coordinate distribution of appropriate documentation at time of job close out
  • Encourage an environment of open communications and a culture of safety

About the Candidate

  • Proven track record of successfully managing electrical projects, ranging from commercial to light industrial, with a minimum project value of $2 million.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Experience with project estimating, design review, and quality control processes.
  • Proven ability to work effectively on-site, overseeing project implementation and coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.  
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify and address challenges effectively.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and BlueBeam would be advantageous but not essential.
