About the Role

An established commercial contractor specializing in Light Gauge Framing, Gypsum Wall & Ceiling Systems, and Exterior Finishes is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee large-scale commercial projects throughout Central Florida.

This position offers the opportunity to lead complex framing and drywall contracts—ranging from $5M to $10M+ —within a team that values precision, collaboration, and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of commercial drywall and light gauge framing projects from preconstruction through closeout.

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans.

• Oversee field operations, subcontractors, and site logistics to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

• Prepare and review estimates, takeoffs, and change orders using On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid.

• Conduct regular project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients, architects, and general contractors.

• Drive projects to completion on time, within scope, and within budget.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial project management experience in Light Gauge Framing / Gypsum Wall & Ceiling systems.

• Proven experience managing project scopes in excess of $5 million; average project size around $10 million.

• Strong estimating background —this is a vital component of the role.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite, On-Screen Takeoff, and Quick Bid.

• Experience with exterior finishes(Stucco, EIFS, Metal Panels, etc.) is a plus.

• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.
