General Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Drywall Project Manager
to oversee and manage commercial drywall projects from start to finish. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate all aspects of construction operations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage all day-to-day tasks for assigned drywall projects, including planning, procurement, scheduling, and execution.

Perform a thorough re-takeoff from estimating to become familiar with project scope and establish material, labor, and subcontractor budgets.

Procure all materials and subcontractors by creating and managing purchase orders.

Prepare and submit submittals for all required materials.
-
Maintain complete document control, including RFIs, pricing, shop drawings, and change orders.

Use project management software (e.g., PlanGrid or similar) to manage plans and communication.

Perform regular cost tracking and budget analysis to maintain financial control of the project.

Conduct weekly site walks to monitor job progress, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.

Serve as the primary liaison between field teams, clients, and internal stakeholders.

Identify and resolve project-related issues promptly and effectively.
About the Candidate
Qualifications for the Job:
Education & Experience:

3–5 years of experience in commercial drywall construction/project management.

Strong background in managing multiple phases of commercial drywall projects.
