About the Client

We are seeking a highly experienced Drywall Foreman to lead our crews across a range of premium commercial interior projects—such as museums, high-end hotels, corporate headquarters, and specialty public interiors. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to achieving world-class workmanship on complex, high-profile sites.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise drywall installation crews—framers, hangers, tapers, and finishers—across demanding commercial interiors.

  • Read and interpret architectural drawings, detailed specifications, and interior design plans to accurately lay out drywall and ceiling systems.

  • Oversee the installation of drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and specialized trim to meet tight tolerances and aesthetic standards.

  • Enforce strict quality control protocols, ensuring surfaces are perfectly finished and compliant with design intent and code requirements.

  • Maintain job site safety: conduct toolbox talks, enforce PPE usage, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.

  • Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and subcontractors to maintain scheduling, resolve scope changes, and ensure clear communication.

  • Manage materials—track usage, minimize waste, and ensure the right quantity of supplies is available on time.

  • Conduct daily work logs, progress tracking, and crew timesheets for billing and documentation purposes.

  • Quickly troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges in real time to keep work on schedule and maintain quality.

About the Candidate

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years as a Foreman on commercial drywall and ceiling projects, especially in upscale interiors such as hospitality, institutional, cultural, or high?rise environments.

  • Demonstrated success managing crews in high-detail and design-sensitive settings that prioritize precision and cleanliness.

  • Strong blueprint reading and layout skills; familiarity with interior finish detail drawings.

  • In-depth knowledge of drywall types, metal lath, framing profiles, taping compounds, acoustical ceilings, and trim systems.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Commitment to safety, quality, and timely execution in a professional construction environment.
